Santorini is the jewel of the Aegean sea. It is an island created out of a volcanic eruption a few thousand years ago, which gave Santorini such a rich soil with abundance of minerals and metals.

Santorini has good infrastructure and roads that access a lot of "private" beaches and other places of interest (e.g. wine houses, museums e.t.c.) You can drive around the island for as little as 26€ / day (low season) with a rental car by Blue Car Rentals and enjoy the scenery, the weather and the amazing sea of the Aegean.

It just makes sense :)

Our car rental office in Santorini has unlimited km for all models but it is not allowed to get your car off the island.

Pickup/Delivery from/to the airoport or port: +15€ per pickup or delivery. During pickup you must provide us with a valid credit card that you own to commit an amount as insurance. The amount depends on the car.

Driver's age: Minimum 23 years old and maximum 70 years old.

Driving license: The driver has to have a national or international driving license depending on the place of origin. Please consult us if you are not sure about this requirement.

Vehicle rental: Pricing is calculated both by day (24 h) and by the hour. In case of a return delay there is an extra charge per hour that is equal to 1/5 of the daily price.

Vehicle insurance: The insurance of our vehicles is "simple liability". This means that if the client causes an accident the insurance company is going to compensate only the sufferer

Charges for any of the damage listed below will directly burden the customer regardless of whether he has accepted CDW, SCDW:

• Radio antenna
• Ashtrays and drawers of the vehicle
• Damage to the vehicle locks
• Loss or damage to the keys of the vehicle
• Windshield wipers
• Interior of the vehicle
• Spare key
• Fuel tank Damage
• Wallpapers Damage
• Damages caused by luggage
• Extreme dirt inside the vehicle
• Damages caused by negligence
• Damages due to incorrect/problematic fuel type
• Damage to baby/baby seats
• Loss of electricity due to forgotten enabled electrical device or devices
• Loss of vehicle documents
• Loss of license plates.

The vehicle rental company is not in any case obliged to replace a scratched tire or damage to audio players (radio, CD/MP3 Player, etc.) Blue Car Rental is not responsible for any one leading under Influence of alcoholic beverages /drugs, causes deliberate damage, drives off -road, leads without the required custody and attention or for damage due to negligence and in violation of the traffic laws. The customer assumes full responsibility in the event of such claims.

Accident: In case of an accident or a car mailfunction the client is obligated to inform the company and the police and NOT MOVE THE CAR.

Theft coverage: The client is exempted of responsibility in case of a vehicle theft if he pays the theft protection fee.

Fines & other payments: Fines and other consequences are the responsibility of the client and he needs to pay them in the respective authorities or private entities (eg tolls) and provide the payment receipt upon delivery of the vehicle. If he fails to comply then he will also be charged of an extra amount (15€) reffered as "Incident Report Expenses".

Fuel: Fuels is paid by the client and is obligated to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel that was available when he received the car.

Availability: The vehicles are available according to initial booking otherwise a same category vehicle will be provided by us

Extra driver: The first extra driver is +10€.

Cancellation policy: If the cancellation takes place: 30 or more days prior the client's arrival date we offer a full refund (other expenses will be paid by the client eg bank transfer expenses). 29 to 15 days prior the client's arrival date we offer a 50% refund (other expenses will be paid by the client eg bank transfer expenses) . 14 or less days prior the client's arrival date we offer no refund whatsoever.

Bookings with unpaid upfront amount (usually 20%) will be automatically cancelled after 3 days.
